Measured transparency, analog-prototype response accuracy, smooth transitions, and stereo-path integrity

Accurate down low

RUBY processes every band in double precision, validates low-shelf gain down to 10 Hz, and keeps low-cut zeros fixed at DC. With a settled curve, its linear path creates no new harmonics to fold back as nonlinear aliasing

Linear under pressure

During validation, harmonic products remained below −120 dB even with an 18 dB bell boost, preserving the source instead of adding unintended saturation

Accurate at the top

Matched-Z filter designs follow their analog prototypes into the top octave, avoiding the high-frequency cramping of a naive digital transform

Consistent across rates

Center gain and key response behavior are checked from 44.1 to 192 kHz, so the same move remains predictable as the session format changes

Smooth in motion

Gain, bypass, band enable, shape, slope, and placement transitions are smoothed or crossfaded to avoid zipper noise and abrupt clicks

Stereo stays intact

Correlated and anti-phase tests verify Left, Right, Mid, and Side routing, so a targeted change stays on the component you selected
